Rules of the Maxim service bonus program
1. General Provisions
1.1. These Rules constitute the official terms and conditions governing the Maxim Service Bonus Program (the “Program”) and shall be deemed a public offer.
1.2. By using the Maxim app and participating in the Program, the User confirms acceptance of these Rules.
1.3. The Program is a marketing and promotional initiative and does not constitute a payment service, financial service, or electronic money issuance activity.
2. Definitions used in the Rules
2.1. “Participant” means any registered User of the Maxim service.
2.2. “New Participant” means a User who has used the services of the Maxim for the first time, has not previously activated promo codes of the Maxim service and has not made any orders via the app (from the phone number linked to the app) or by phone.
2.3. “User” means an individual ordering the services of the Maxim service in compliance with the terms and conditions defined by the Maxim service.
2.4. “Promo Code” means a sequence of letters and digits generated in the app and intended for individual use by or exchange between bonus program Participants. A Promo Code identifies its sender and receiver, provides bonus credits, and enables participation in promotions of the Maxim service. It can be used only in the country for which it is generated. A Promo Code is activated by being entered in the corresponding field in the Maxim app.
2.5. “Bonus kyats” means a non-monetary unit calculated in Myanmar kyats (1 bonus kyat equals 1 Myanmar kyat), which can be used to obtain a discount of up to 10%, unless otherwise stated in promotional materials and/or these Rules, to pay for rides at the available rates. Bonus kyats cannot be exchanged for cash and are valid for a limited period specified by these Rules.
2.6. “Gift kyats” means a non-monetary promotional unit calculated in Myanmar kyats (1 gift kyat equals 1 Myanmar kyat), which can be used to pay up to 100% of the price of orders placed at available rates, provided that the price of such orders does not exceed the nominal value (amount) of gift kyats.
2.7. “Personal Account” means an online account of the User of the Maxim app generated by the Maxim service used to reflect the balance of promotional units and display details of order-related transactions.
2.8. “Discount” means a discount provided to the User of the Maxim service in the amount specified when the information about the User’s potential demand for orders at available rates via the Maxim app is posted.
2.9. “Promotions” means various advertising and marketing events announced by the Maxim service. As part of participation in promotions, Users may receive Promo Codes, discounts and other privileges as provided for by these Rules.
3. Nature of the Bonus Program
3.1. The Program is designed solely to stimulate User engagement and demand for services.
4. Types of Bonuses, Promo Codes
4.1. “New User bonus”. A new participant enters a Promo Code from promotional materials of the Maxim service in the Maxim app. After a successful activation of the Promo Code, the amount of bonus kyats specified in the promotional material is credited to the New Participant’s account, and can be used to pay for rides within 30 days from the moment of crediting.
4.2. “First User bonus”. A New Participant and/or a Participant who has not made any orders using his/her phone number and has not activated the Maxim service Promo Codes within the period specified in the promotional materials, enters a Promo Code taken from the Maxim service promotional materials in the Maxim app. After successfully activating the Promo Code, the New Participant or Participant who falls within the criteria set forth in this paragraph receives the amount of bonus kyats specified in the promotional materials, which can be used to pay for orders at available rates within 30 days from the moment of crediting.
4.3. “A bonus for your friends”. A Participant generates their personal Promo Code in the Maxim app and sends it to a New Participant via any means of preference. After the New Participant activates the Promo Code in the app on their device, they receive 15,000 bonus kyats. The Participant sharing their personal Promo Code receives 1,500 bonus kyats every time a New Participant successfully activates their personal Promo Code under the condition that this New Participant has completed at least 3 paid orders in the Maxim app at the available rates within 90 days after crediting. Bonus kyats are credited to the Users’ personal account and can be used to pay for orders at the available rates within 30 days after crediting.
4.4. “Campaign Promo Code”. A User of the Maxim app receives a Promo Code for participating in a promotional campaign of the Maxim service. After activating the Promo Code, the User becomes a participant of the promotional campaign. Bonus and gift kyats are not credited for the activation. The User of the Maxim app is additionally informed about the period and procedure of the Promo Code activation, as well as about the terms and conditions, procedure and period of the promotional campaign.
4.5. “Prize Promo Code”. A User of the Maxim app receives a Promo Code as a prize for participating in the promotional offer of the Maxim service. After activating the Promo Code, gift or bonus kyats, as specified in the terms and conditions of the promotional offer, are credited to the personal account of the User and can be used to pay for orders at available rates. The amount of bonus kyats and the period of their use are determined by the terms and conditions of the promotional offer.
5. Other Bonus Program Provisions
5.1. The Maxim Service shall not be liable for loss of bonus credits due to expiration or technical issues and inability to use said bonus credits due to system limitations. Promo codes, bonus and gift kyats are provided “as is” without any guarantees at the sole discretion of the Maxim Service; they may be modified, limited, or revoked at any time; they shall not create any financial obligation on the part of the Maxim Service.
5.2. The Maxim Service may modify these Rules at any time and/or terminate the Program partially or entirely. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Rules.
5.3. The Maxim service provides information on the rules, periods, and terms and conditions of the bonus program in the Maxim app and at taximaxim.com/app.
5.4. Additional terms and conditions for using Promo Codes, bonus and gift kyats may be specified in promotional materials of the Maxim service.
